Created website for an African NGO on WordPress. Website is in Portuguese

The Project
The client wanted a simple website to present the NGO details to its community and ways of participate and donate to help them grow and help others.
Brand Identity
Before our collaboration, ASMEN had a rather restricted brand asset collection. Their typography lacked distinctiveness, illustrations were few, and the colour palette wasn’t quite defined. My initial approach involved identifying their vision, mission and goals. Subsequently, we aimed to delineate a brand personality that would reflect them.
Drawing inspiration from their existing colours, logo and overall visual style, we refined and expanded upon these elements to create a more captivating and adaptable brand identity. I created a brand book with a colour palette, typography and pictures to be included on the website.

Layout & Content

In collaboration with the client, we decided to use a WordPress template as the foundation for their online presence. With a clear understanding of the agreed-upon content and images to be incorporated, I meticulously selected visuals that reflected the brand's essence.
Given the initial absence of brand-specific imagery, these chosen pictures were strategically curated to align with and enhance the brand identity seamlessly. Through thoughtful selection, we aimed to establish a visual narrative that not only resonated with the client's vision but also contributed to a compelling and cohesive online representation.
